"Michael Johnson tries to find the beautiful and unexplained in the images that chronicle his daily life. His camera is used as a kind of filter, to sieve the nuggets of personality and dis-joint that occur in a city, and record them. His aim is to tune his eye to something different and to draw out abstract and strange."
