There are drawings in notebooks, which are private things, as well as drawings made to be out in the world. Drawing reflects fleeting moments and scattered thoughts. It is a way of exploring a preoccupation and leading to the discovery of another. At times it is an intense relationship with the actual materials and the moment bringing it into existence. It is often a way of overcoming fear. And at different times it so often is all of these things that when pieced together begin to tell a story.
